The Salient VM223 Cordless Pen Mouse (V-Mouse) gives you all the fuctions of a mouse but is held like a pen. V-Mouse is operated by the wrist and fingers. Its natural, easy and precise writing style uses the smaller muscles of the fingers to allow very fine control. As it simulates a traditional pen, there's no arm lifting to reposition the cursor. It's an excellent tool for drawing and photo editing as well as the more mundane mouse tasks.

The V-Mouse gives you 1000 DPI resolution, with 2 buttons and simulated third button scroll and it weighs a mere 39g (1.2oz). The device uses 2.4GHz RF wireless technology, with up to 10m (approx 30') operation distance. Communication with your computer is made via a USB mini dongle. The V-Mouse has a built in rechargeable Li-ion battery and the USB based non-disruptive charging system allows the device to be operational during charging.

The VM223 also functions as a laser pointer for presentations and includes Page Up / Page Down controls.

The V-Mouse is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, ME, 2K, 98SE; Mac OS 8.6 and above; some versions of Linux.
