RH Extend Range

RH chairs are consistently designed to help you maintain an upright posture, relieve strain, and enable you to vary your sitting position, whilst still being simple to adjust. The RH Extend is designed so that it takes only a simple manoeuvre to adjust it when you want to move closer, lean back or move freely around your working environment. As RH say, an ergonomic chair is not truly ergonomic until you use it.

The RH Extend is available with either a high or a medium back, depending on your work environment or how tall you are. Both backrests have been designed to give full support and excellent strain relief. They are slightly concave to surround your back, and narrower towards the top to permit good mobility for the arms. The superb lumbar flex pad provides excellent support for the lumbar region, thorax and shoulders. The seat on the Extend also provides excellent weight distribution and strain relief. The waterfall edge and the shape of the seat pad reduces pressure on the underside of the thighs while ensuring that you always remain in the centre of the seat even when the chair is at its maximum forward tilt. The front part of the seat cushion is also shaped to conform to the shape of the thighs, while the back part is flat to allow correct positioning of the ischial tuberosities.

NEW for September 2008 are the latest versions of the RH Extend. The RH Extend 200 Medium and RH Extend 220 Large now include an independent back angle adjustment. This adds greater adjustability to enhance the synchronised reclining action.

On the RH Extend you also have the option of adding height, depth and width adjustable armrests and a height and depth adjustable neckrest.
